2021 WWTP Expansion & Improvements

Williams & Works provided design and for an expansion of the Village of Middleville WWTP. The project complete the work that was begun in 2017 for a capacity expansion.
The project doubled the capacity of the treatment system. Two concrete tanks were constructed and fitted with SBR equipment. Blowers and sludge pumps for the SBRs were installed in the existing building. The existing sludge storage tank was expanded to double the capacity and storage period.
An outdoor drainage pad was also constructed to dry out material from trucks and treat the decanted wastewater before sending the dry material to the landfill.
The project was bid in March 2021. Construction began in September 2021 and completed in October 2022.
