WWTP Improvements - Contract 1

Williams & Works provided design, permitting assistance, and survey and is providing construction engineering services for improvements to the City of Greenville WWTP. Century A&E provided architectural and MEP design for two small building expansions and electrical design for the process equipment.
The project included the construction of a 500,000-gallon anaerobic digester, installation of a mixing system in a sludge storage tank, and replacement of 4 submersible influent pumps. The digester will be fitted with a dual membrane gas storage cover. Electrical and controls improvements were made throughout the plant to prepare for a SCADA system upgrade.
The project bid in August 2020. Construction began in October 2020 and was completed September 2021.
